About this paper

Toyo calls this shade Kogane, a rich golden-yellow colour. Despite the name's association with gold, this is traditional smooth kami rather than metallic or foil paper, so the surface is matte and does not have a reflective shine.

The paper is lightweight and easy to crease, with golden yellow on one side and a white reverse. With 100 identical 15cm sheets, it is particularly useful for modular origami, decorations, repeated models and projects requiring a consistent warm yellow-gold shade.
